Legal Shield

Does anyone here belong to a legal shield organization of some kind? In the event you have to use your weapon.
Thinking about joining 'Texas Shield'.
Although we have the castle doctrine, and I have homestead on my house, you know you will most likely get arrested and then the legal fees begin.
I am looking for opinions, feedback etc.

I don't but its a good idea, I have some police that are friends of mine. They told me if I have to use my weapon to dump everything into the person. It shows fear when you dump your mag. And fear for your life means free not jail.

It's one of the reasons I keep a shotgun near my bed. Had to shoot an intruder a while back, he didn't make it out but I was sitting on the floor waiting for more if needed with the phone in my hand.

God forbid I have to shoot, but if you come into my home unannounced they definitely will need to bring a hearse, there is no 'just injuring you' to it.
These organizations do cover ALL legal expenses, criminal AND civil. So the membership is well worth it I think.
Am looking to see if some of you may have joined somewhere or have a story to share about it, before I make a decision.

I am one not to join any group... I wander from place to place protecting those who need it. Those stupid enough to invade my home will be met with brute force.
